Where are the lessons held?
I travel to you to teach so you can enjoy learning the guitar in the comfort of your home! I’m based in Farnborough and travel to Camberley, Frimley, Sandhurst and beyond. Now by using an iPad in the lessons, I can really increase the learning capabilities and enjoyment for you, the student!
How long are the lessons?
Lessons can be as short as 45 minutes and as long as you’d like. I used to offer 30 minute lessons but found there just wasn’t enough time to cover all the material to really get the most out of a lesson.
Can I have lessons with my friends/family?
Of course! I offer group lesson of any size as well as your standard one-on-one lessons.
What will I learn in the lessons?
I tailor my lessons to help you reach your personal goals. Whether you’d like to play rockin’ solos or strum a few simple songs, I’ll teach you at your own pace.
How much should I practice?
20 minutes of practice a day is a good amount to aim for. Of course we all have other things to do, but remember that you will progress faster by practising little and often rather than a large amount every now and then.
What happens if I can’t make the lesson?
I ask students to give at least 24 hours notice if they cannot make a lesson. A 50% lesson fee is asked for if the lesson is cancelled late. Obviously there are exceptions that will be taken in to account.
The most important thing is that you have fun and enjoy learning and playing your instrument!
